Economic Recovery Training Program (ERTP) is a temporary initiative that provides training funds for people that are not EI eligible. KES counselors will work with you to develop an action plan for obtaining the training you need to get working. An external service provider makes the final funding decision – either to approve or deny. This initiative ends March 31st, 2011 and all training must be completed by June 30th, 2011.

Intake is continuous but it is important to have a KES counselor involved in your training decision. Applications usually take at least a month to prepare and process so it is important to start well before the training does.
