Kes is offering a program called Traction. Youth participants (age 30 and under) will be paid while attending six-weeks in the classroom and 12 weeks of work experience will follow. They’ll learn all sorts of cool stuff including how to find and maintain a job! We can help youth prepare for the job market by providing employability and life skills training through classroom and experiential learning activities. This program includes:
- 6 weeks of paid workshops (class time)
- 12 weeks of paid work experience
- Workshops/certificates include:
- Career Exploration
- Creative Expression
- First Aid
- Food Safe
- Microsoft Excel + Publisher
- Guest Speakers
- Community organizations
- Cool and/or awesome people
