Food Recovery Worker

Requirements Demonstrated experience working with minimal supervision and with a team
Reliable, friendly, works well with others
Good oral communication skills
Able to repetitively lift loads of 50lbs
Willing to submit a Criminal Record Check

Preferred Skills:
Valid full driver’s license (by June 2020), and be willing to provide a driver’s abstract
FoodSafe level 1

Duties Volunteer 1-5 days a week for 2 hour shifts
9:30-11:30 or 10:30-12:30
Work with the Food Recovery team, a mix of volunteers and staff
Choose your role:
- Drive food recovery van to stores for pickup, load and unload van with bins of food
- Sort produce, weigh and record food weights
- Wash bins
- Cleaning: help keep our facility spic and span
