Child & Youth Care Worker – Summer Student Position

Requirements Qualifications: • Relevant education and/or experience working with children and youth. • Current Standard or Childcare Emergency First Aid Certificate with CPR-B or CPR-C. • Successful completion of agency screening process, including a criminal record check.


Duties The Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club invites applications from qualified individuals to work as a child and youth care worker to provide direct care and summer programming to children and youth ages 5-11 years old.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist in the development and implementation of program activities that are consistent with agency values and core programming areas. • Ensure that programs developed engage members, address healthy positive child development and provides members with a sense of belonging. • Provide a nurturing, fun and safe environment for children and youth. • Establish positive relationships and open communication with parents/guardians.
