Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a string personality and will have experience providing excellent customer service. These positions require dependability of scheduling. Transportation is available through our Hotel shuttle. We are willing to train the right person and are looking for someone with a desire to execute a defined and high-end service. Wine knowledge or the desire to attain this knowledge, is an asset. Must be 19 years of age or older. Will require or need to obtain a Serving it Right. Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Job Purpose: This position is responsible for serving Resort guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Servers issue menus and take orders from guests, inform kitchen staff of orders via Silverware Point of Sale System (POS), ensures liquid refreshment levels are maintained as required while adhering to “Serving It Right” policies, clean and reset tables, respond to guest requests as required and keeps guests satisfied throughout service and issues bill for services rendered and obtain appropriate documentation or cash necessary to ensure payment. You would have or obtain the ability to recommend food and wine parings. It would be required that you inform a supervisor of complaints and resolve situations speedily and in the best interests of the Resorts reputation. You would also receive, liquor and supply orders and put them where they belong, in an orderly fashion; keep supplies stocked and clean; engage in light cleaning duties in the restaurant area such as filling and wiping coffee pots, sugar, napkins and holders, straws, etc.
