Requirements •Solid knowledge and understanding of non-profit and social service sectors.
•Human Services Worker Certificate/Diploma or equivalent experience
•Focused on maintaining personal resiliency and a balanced lifestyle.
Required
•Clear criminal record check.

•Empathetic, non-judgmental, and compassionate towards others.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
•Strong computer skills.

Duties The STV Client Support Worker is responsible for supporting, advocating, and providing service to clients who fall under the following areas: Stopping the Violence (STV) programs - Outreach, Safe Home, and Older Women’s Safe Home; Advocacy program – targeted towards vulnerable populations; 24 Hour Crisis Line Support; and other smaller support groups/programs available through short-term funding.
