•Certification as a Meat Cutter/Butcher.
•Previous experience in a Meat Cutter/Butcher position.
•Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and different cuts.
•Strong knowledge of food safety practices.
•Able to work independently, strong time management skills.
•Able to follow directions.
•Able to safely lift up to 60lbs and stand for long periods of time.
•Willingness to work varying days/hours based on customer need.
•Breaking down hanging quarters.
•Cutting, boning, trimming and preparing meat to the highest standard of quality.
•Using knives, knife sharpeners, meat grinders and other tools to safely perform duties.
•Custom cutting of beef, pork, lamb, goat, and wild game to customer specifications.
•Regular cleaning and sanitizing of workspaces.
•Other various duties as required.
