Requirements • Previous experience in a customer service focused role
• Excellent command of the English language – written and verbal. Other languages an asset
• Skilled and sensitive listener who understands customer needs and can solve issues promptly
• Candidates must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
• Available to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings and weekends
• Basic knowledge of Fernie and surrounding area is an asset
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Organized and detail oriented with thorough follow up skills
• Willing to partake in jobs not defined under Guest Services, if required


Duties • Providing exceptional customer service to our guests and owners
• Resolve notable guest/owner challenges or report them to management in a timely fashion
• Respond to concerns/compliments from guests and owners in a professional manner
• Welcome, check in and orient all guests and owners to the property’s amenities and facilities
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and able to multitask
• Becoming a destination expert through a combination of research and training
• Reply to all guest email and phone queries in a professional, timely and courteous manner
• Working closely with all departments and co-workers to ensure a streamlined guest experience
• Ensuring our buildings and facilities are secure, clean and well-presented
• Following emergency and safety procedures
• Other duties and projects as assigned when required
