Requirements Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
Proven organizational and task management skills.
Experience working with diverse audiences and groups.
Outgoing personality, enjoy working with the public
Background in history, English, museum studies, archaeology, anthropology, tourism, education, or related field.
Full-time student, between the ages 16-30, who is returning to their studies in the fall.
May not have another full-time job (over 30 hours per week)
Eligible to work in Canada.

Duties Deliver interpretive historic tours of railcars in museum collection
Impart museum's mandate on visitors through all interactions including tours.
Greet and manage tour groups
Help develop and deliver museum's summer programming
Carry-out visitor services tasks including: ticket sales, answering the phone, resolving visitor questions and concerns
Carry-out gift shop customer service, maintenance, stocking, pricing
Accurately handle cash and credit card accounting in accordance with museum policies
Participate in museum maintenance and cleaning, including the museum grounds.
