The Sparwood & District Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for full time Visitor Information Counsellors. Guaranteed 32 hours 2 Full time Visitor Counsellor positions will run June through Early September. Visitor Information Councilor Training (TVIC) will be provided. A strong knowledge of Sparwood and the Elk Valley area is a must. Applicants must be available weekends and week days Wage: $15/Hour |
| Duties |
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, Strong organizational skills, friendly and approachable demeanor, adhere to professional grooming standards, keep visitor centre stats, cleaning, assisting guests in retail and brochure/map selection, giving directions, stocking, balancing cash, opening and closing duties, amongst other miscellaneous duties. |
