ECE with a License to Practice or and ECE assistant enrolled in a recognized ECE program working towards licensing
Have experience with or an understanding of family based program delivery
Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Knowledge of community services in the Windermere Valley
Clear Criminal Record check and up to date first aid (training can be provided)
Personal qualities include excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work as part of a team, be culturally sensitive, creative and resourceful
Basic computer skills
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of families? StrongStart is a family program that focuses on healthy development, family engagement and school readiness for children birth to 6 years. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the program offered in schools throughout the valley with support from CBAL. Travel time and mileage at .50c/km are paid. Part time mornings up to 25 hrs a week.
Extended health benefits based on a minimum of 25/hrs a week. Financial support for ECE training. We can be flexible, you can decide which days work for you if 25 hours is too many.
