Requirements -Experience with coordination and multi-tasking
-Experience with administrative tasks
-Experience with building and grounds maintenance
-Experience working with a people who face barriers to participation
-Experience with Microsoft Office and bookkeeping (QuickBooks desktop and QBO)
-Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
-Demonstrated ability to function independently and as part of a team
-Good planning, organizing, controlling and administrative skills
-Ability to foster positive relationships with tenants, committee members, volunteers, peer managers, subordinates, government officials and external contracts.
-Physically fit to perform maintenance responsibilities
-Basic knowledge of building and ground maintenance
-Ability to participate at meetings, conferences and other events that may involve long work days, and/or evening/weekend work
-Must be able to take one full day of emergency on call

Duties Assist with the management and provision of project operations, research and development and tenant services within the allowable scope of Fernie Family Housing Society's responsibilities for all properties currently held and those in development. Responsibilities may include some of or all of the following: ground and building maintenance, office administration, tenant support and human resource services (paid contractors/staff and volunteers)
