Disability Employment Awareness Month is coming up!

In the spirit of increasing inclusivity and awareness for Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM) in the East Kootenay Region, Kootenay Employment Services is organizing a series of Lunch N’ Learns (1-2 hours long) for the month of October.  The free workshops/in-services will be related to inclusive employment and geared toward employers, managers, human resource professionals, and small business owners. Topics might include employee rights and employer responsibilities, Assistive Technology and accommodations, neurodiversity and mental health.

If you could take a minute of your time to fill out our survey below, it would help us to tailor the workshops to best fit both yours, and our community’s needs.
